| Moms ALIVE (Adoptive Life Is Very Exciting) is a group of moms who have adopted domestically and/or internationally. Some adoptions are closed; some are open. Some have adopted older children or sibling groups from foster care. Most have dealt with infertility issues, while some have biological children as well. Some members are in the waiting-stage of their adoption process. Moms ALIVE is a Christian support group for all adoptive and waiting moms, supporting each other in friendship and in prayer. We welcome those who have questions while exploring adoption for their families. Moms ALIVE was formed in 2001 by three adoptive moms who desired an active support network in the adoptive community. In 2002 Moms ALIVE became a nonprofit organization with 501 (c) 3 status. Moms ALIVE has received grant money from The Memorial Foundation and LifeWay Christian Resources. Donations are tax deductible as allowable by law. |

| Moms ALIVE meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Child care can be arranged, by contacting us at 831-9208. Moms ALIVE has a speaker every other month. On the other months, it is open session. Moms ALIVE presents "The Adoption Option" to local high schools, colleges, universities, Crisis Pregnancy Centers, and other groups. "The Adoption Option" has been featured in The Tennessean and Henderonsville Star News. Moms ALIVE has purchased adoption related story books and educational material to be donated for community awareness. As a community service, "The Adoption Option" presentations are offered free of charge. Please contact us if your organization is interested in learning more about "The Adoption Option." Moms ALIVE is a member of IAC, an Inter-Agency Adoption Coalition in middle-TN. Annual Membership is $15 |
